2nd Amendment 'Sanctuaries'

multiple rural Illinois counties have passed resolutions establishing a so-called 'sanctuary' for gun owners I recently read an article by Tim Schmidt of the USCCA that I wanted to share with you. People are truly starting to say, enough is enough!

According to Fox News, "multiple rural Illinois counties have passed resolutions establishing a so-called 'sanctuary' for gun owners in a bid to thwart the state legislature's efforts to enact stricter gun control."

The Land of Lincoln, notorious for being one of the most gun-unfriendly states in the nation, apparently contains a large and vocal group of individuals across multiple counties who are opposed to the Democratic-controlled Legislature's proposed gun bills. According to David Campbell, vice chairman of the Effingham County Board, these counties "will instruct their employees to ignore the new laws [if they pass]."

Dick's Sporting Good Keeps Digging

Dick's Sporting Goods Destroys Guns The stupidity of knee-jerk reactions and how people will double down on them is amazing. A case in point is this story.

The first law of holes, sometimes attributed to cowboy philosopher Will Rogers, suggests, “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” In other words, don’t make a bad decision worse by expanding it, with the hope that you will eventually extricate yourself. The hole will just get deeper. Somebody may want to mention this to Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Why Your Dog is So Happy to See You

What The NRA Also Spends its Money On

What the NRA Spends Their Money On The National Rifle Association has over the years drastically increased the funding to schools. According to the findings of an Associated Press analysis of their tax records, over 500 schools country wide have received more than $7.3 million from 2010 to 2016. This revelation comes amid heated national debate over gun control and violence in schools.

California is the largest beneficiary of the grants, receiving over $1million. Florida was a close second. While some states received dozens of grants, some states did not receive the NRA grants. Massachusetts, a state known for their strict gun laws, did not receive any grants.
